BlackBerry 9800 Torch NAM 3G HSDPA Unlocked Cell Phone

Research In Motion (RIM) has announced the release of the newest BlackBerry model, 9800. Also known as the BlackBerry Torch 9800, its highlighted feature is the newest BlackBerry 6.0 OS and it is also the first BlackBerry unlocked smartphone composes with both touchscreen display with a slide out full QWERTY keyboard simultaneously. Torch 9800 combines the strengths of Storm (touchscreen) and Bold (full QWERTY keyboard) together to develop a whole new dynamic experience for BlackBerry.

Comparing BlackBerry 6.0 OS with the older version, it has increased a lot more functions including a newly designed user interface, intergrated BBM, FaceBook, Twitter, MySpace, etc instant social networking communication activities, and pre-installed YouTube, Podcast applications. Additionally, BlackBerry 9800 Torch has a 624 MHz processor. It has also adopted a whole new enhanced browser for faster web browsing with the ability of opening multiple web pages at once. Moreover, the new OS has included a new 'Universal Search' which is able to search any related contacts, e-mails, files, messages, or even web pages and applications in App World.

The Blackberry 9800 Torch is built in with a 3.2 inches TFT touchscreen display screen with 360 x 480 pixels HVGA+ resolution. The camera has been upgrade to 5.0MP even as gcan also record VGA high resolution videos. The other hardware specs include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, bluetooth v.2.1, A-GPS (pre-loaded BlackBerry Maps). Torch 9800 is built with a 4GB memory, and it can support up to 32GB microSD memory card for extra storage capacity.

The camera of Torch 9800 has been upgraded to 5.0MP. It supports continuous auto focusing and image stabilization, and it is built along with a LED flash. Torch 9800 can also record VGA high resolution videos. The other hardware specs include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, bluetooth v.2.1, A-GPS (pre-loaded BlackBerry Maps).
